Being offered is an exceedingly rare set of circa 1948-1962 sterling silver flatware by Hector Aguilar, Taxco, Mexico in the rare 'rope' pattern. The set has twelve (12) place settings, 11 different pieces per place setting -- please see list below -- for a total of 136 pieces. Total weight 270 ozs. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo (other Aguilar marks of same period also stamped on some pieces). In excellent, if not mint condition.
