Exceedingly Rare Spratling Tin Pair of Candlesticks, 1935

Being offered is an exceedingly rare pair of circa 1935 tin candlesticks by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico, the base circular with spirals of metal (echoing Spratling's later sterling silver candlesticks in the 1950's), between the base and candleholder, the base also have repousse knobs along rim. Dimensions 3 1/4 inches high by 4 3/4 inches diameter. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent.
